Fe-Si-Al powder core is composed of 85% Fe, 9.6% Si, and 5.4% Al. It is mainly used as a replacement for iron powder cores, with losses 80% lower than those of iron powder cores. It can be used in the frequency range of 50Hz to 2MHz; the saturation flux density is about 1.05T; the permeability ranges from 26 to 125; the magnetostriction coefficient is close to zero, producing no noise when operating at different frequencies, and has a higher DC bias capability than MPP, offering the best cost performance ratio. It is mainly used for: PFC inductors in server/PC power supplies, switching regulator inductors, boost inductors for photovoltaic inverters, general industrial power output inductors, filters, etc.
